  • Hello I was adding the spoilers to the new set and I was curious how something should be handled. The stones for this set and Valhallah share names, so I just link the old stones and call it good or should I make new stone pages with some kind of different identifier?

  • Hi. I’ve given you admin and bureaucrat rights on this wikia as you requested. You now have the tools you need to clean up, customize and maintain the wikia.

Check out your Admin Dashboard, which can by found by clicking "Admin" on the bottom toolbar -- it has links to all your new tools. Please let me know if you have any questions, and good luck with your new (old) wikia!

  • While still some inconsistency with their set names

[The Castle of Heavens and The Two Towers] is on the header image, but [The Castle of Heaven and The Two Tower] is currently on the pack image...

    http://fowtcg.com/guide/rule.php does at least exist.

Somehow it doesn't manage list the attributes (yet does list each of the card types..)

But on the rule sheet, it does mention a sentence with

(it means the card may be played by paying two fire wills and two wills of any kind)

Although they messed up with that too, as the image shows F (2) and not F F (2).

    • Yeah just saw the update today, they made the website look exactly the same as the japanese one. I guess this means I can't place english card images yet, as I  previously got them from the website's cardlist (which is currently down).

    • http://force-of-will.com/site/card-db/card-db.php should still be usable for images.

Although the Castle of Heavens images aren't as good as the other sets. (black borders)

edit: There might be random edits from me, but I got a bunch of cards to work on on my main wiki the next few days (set release on the 21st, but a bunch spoiled!) so I might be a bit busy. Figured you should know. I'll probably still reply to messages tho.

  • You should try out the source editor.

The cardtable seems to turn out a little messy codewise with the Visual default editor. (Wikia try to force it on people as it looks prettier, but it tends to just break things).

Oh, and while we cant delete old images yet, we should try to keep the card file names to the exact english name. For now, we can still replace them over the japanese image. If we can do that, I can make set galleries a ton easier. I already fixed Flare Dragon, but theres others like Djinn or Power from Inside that are slightly off (Power from inside.jpg)

    • I try to keep the Photos' names the same as the name of the card, although aside from some minor mistakes (like Power from Inside) some Japanese images also take the name of the card, thus the english images take the card name and add"-0". (e.g. Berserk Dragon-0.jpg). And sure, I'll try to use the Source Editor.

    • Hmm, interesting article you found there. And yes, I am also not a fan of cardfight and buddyfight, I find it too childish, not to mention majority of cardfight and buddyfight

players here in PH are little kids.

    • I dislike it for 2 main reasons.

Their card names. I hate the translated style of the names into "TITLE, NAME" instead of the english "NAME, Title". After translating Duel Masters for years now, its a real pet peeve I have about Bushiroad games. This game thankfully doesn't do this.

The other reason (which isn't really the games fault) is some of the cardfight wikia. I'm not the biggest fan of pages having comments due to spam (yet I dont mind it on this wiki currently, it does have merit at times) .... but their wiki is just full of spamming / swearing / selling comments. I have kinda seen that reason too of it being younger players, due to the anime.

  • I actually had a few people pushing me to help out here because of my other tcg-wikia experience. I likely wasnt going to take it over due to time, but I did want to help out with a few important pages here and there.

Why the differing effect text from what the English cards are saying though? (edit: Ok, some is just left over from the JP translation.)

    • Ok, got it to work, this was the result: Delphinius, the Knight of the Sun

Probably the only thing I'd struggle with is the "Illustrator", the Japanese characters on the lower right of cards are too small to see (unless I have a copy of the card) and where I'd find the characters and which one, cuz I am aware that the Japanese uses different characters from Katakana, Hiragana, and Kanji (Chinese characters).

    • Well, I saw that the english cards had it, but it can be hard to see with card size.

Can remove it if wanted, or if its just leave it blank on the template, it wont appear on the page.

(That is the same with ATK/DEF, Cost and whatever else a card might be missing. Like Delphinius is.)

On another note, setting up and cleaning a few other important pages, including the Attributes/Card Types.
