Spells cards come in a variety of types and effects.
They are the magic cards cast in this game, allowing a player to support their Resonators with various effects, or hinder their opponent's Resonators.
Their effect applies immediately when the spell is activated.
There are 3 types of Spells:
These can be used only during your turn, while there are no cards or abilities in the Chase Area.
These cards are set (face-down) into your chant-standby area by paying during your turn, while there are no cards or abilities in the Chase Area. These cards cannot be used the same turn they are set. You do not need to control any particular magic stones to play them: you just need to meet their [Trigger] condition.
These cards can also be played from your hand when their [Trigger] condition is met, by paying their cost (likewise Spell:Chant-Instant cards).
You may put ANY card into your chant-standby area but only Chant-Standby cards can be played from your chant-standby area. For this reason, you don’t need to reveal the cards you put into your chant-standby area when a game ends.
These cards can be used on your turn as well as your opponents.
